Orange and Maroon Legislative Day will provide an excellent partnership opportunity for alumni to accent the importance of the financial constitutional commitment by our State to these two flagship Universities. It is a unique event to assure that higher education is given the proper and appropriate priority by the Legislature to fund this key component of our state’s economy and future. Our alumni advocates will be able to highlight our top two to three joint legislative priorities to lawmakers and to the state’s top leadership. Everyone that participated in the last event benefited personally from the exercise to better serve Texas and our University. |
